SUMMARY
The Accounts Officer's role is to provide services to Travelliance Accounts in terms of Auditing, Invoicing and general Customer service. The position is also responsible in creating and maintaining database required by Travelliance Accounts Management team (External).
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will require you to do the following, including but not limited to:
Audit - Invoice and General Services (50%)
a) Responsible in auditing invoices of assigned ports/currency in accordance with Travelliance’s
standard.
b) Responsible in sending invoices and its supporting documents as required by the customer
Airlines.
c) Reconciles Suppliers’ Statement of Accounts.
d) Requests invoices to Suppliers.
e) Meet the weekly targets as a team.
Coordination - Liaise with suppliers, clients and TVA – Operations Team (30%)
a) Communicates through email or phone with suppliers in relation to audit process.
b) Communicates through email or phone with clients in relation to invoicing queries.
c) Communicates through email or phone with Operations Team in relation to vouchering
issues/queries.
Training/Learning and Development (10%)
a) Ensure attendance for Company mandated/related training programs.
b) Compliance to Department’s required training hours and procedures.
c) Reach out to Supervisor for additional training needs/requirements that can help in his/her basic
functions.
Administrative (10%)
a) Ensure timely filing and compliance with Company’s policy on leave filing, overtime and time
sheet procedures
b) Additional tasks may be given depends on the client’s requirements.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
To better consider you for this position, you must possess the following:
Functional Competencies
a) Mastery of computer basics and operations.
b) Ability to perform auditing/invoicing duties using client prescribed system.
c) Typing skills: Ability to input data with typing speed of at least 25wpm accurately.
d) Ability to adapt to the company’s culture, model the core values and adhere to the Company’s
code of conduct.
Education and Work Background
a) Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy but not required.
b) Must have a minimum of 2 years work experience in handling general accounting, invoicing and
auditing is preferred.
c) Must have an excellent communication skills both written and spoken.
d) Ideally, with a BPO background in general customer service, sales and back-end support
preferably under travel account an advantage.
