Accounting Supervisor

Duties and Responsibilities:

1.
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the accounting team, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Income Audit, and General Ledger functions.
2.
Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end closing processes.
3. Review and approve journal entries, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet account reconciliations.
4.
Monitor cash flow and banking activities, ensuring proper internal controls are in place.
5.
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies, tax regulations, and hospitality industry standards.
6.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
7.
Support the budgeting and forecasting process in collaboration with department heads.
8.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors by providing required documentation and explanations.
9.
Identify and implement improvements to accounting procedures and internal controls.
10.
Provide training, mentorship, and performance feedback to accounting team members.
11.
Perform financial analysis and assist with ad hoc reporting as required.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

1.
Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy.
2.
Minimum of 2–5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
3.
Strong knowledge of hospitality accounting standards, revenue recognition, and cost control principles.
4.
Proficiency in accounting software.
5.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
6.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
7.
Effective communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
