MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of any Accounting or Finance background
- Has 1-2 work experience as Team Lead or Supervisor in General Accounting, Costing Accounting, or Inventory
- Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Strong analytical skills; able to understand trends in data and deduce observations from numbers
- Ability to prepare management reports and give recommendation based on available data
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel
- Must be organized, systematic and with keen attention to detail
- Strong communication skills; must work well with others
- Advantage in having exposure to Oracle ERP system
KEY ROLES:
- Handle day-to-day General Accounting operations at MPPC which include checking of invoices prepared, reconcile accounts receivable, prepare projected collection and approval of petty cash reimbursements.
- Oversee monthly Inventory Audit activities and present recommendations for process improvement and cost savings
- Review costing reports with analysis on areas for cost savings
- Provide financial analysis and reporting to senior management to support decision making
- Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets and forecasts
- Monitor Finance and Accounting staff's performance on a daily basis
- Develop policies and procedures to meet business targets
