**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's/College Degree, Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam) in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
- Knowledgeable in Financial & Management Accounting
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage the monthly financial process, including ensuring all costs incurred are properly recorded, reviewing journal entries, account balance reconciliations, and report preparation
- Participate in the ongoing development/establishment of accounting policies and procedures and operational strategies including the review and implementation of process and system changes.
- Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices
- Participate in strategic financial projects including upgrades of the accounting system.
- Interacts at all levels and with budget owners or other stakeholders to produce a timely, efficient and accurate month-end close and all internal management and financial reporting through the annual report
- Make recommendations for changes as needed and ensure that company policies and procedures are followed and establishes the proper techniques to discover and prevent fraud.
- Prepare detailed journal entries and account analyses
- Assist with the compilation of information for preparation of tax returns
- Prepare summary feedback of financial statement variances to budget.
- Responsible for the orientation of the department's processes and policies to newly hired employees.
- Preparation and presentation of monthly/quarterly/annual Financial Statements to Stockholders /Shareholders.
- Mentoring and coaching of subordinates.
- Approval of Accounting documents when necessary.
- Actively review and advise on financial/accounting processes.
**Education**:
- Bachelor's (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Accounting Management: 7 years (preferred)
- Managerial: 5 years (preferred)
