We are looking for a knowledgeable Accounting Manager who can lead and motivate accounting staff members and increase department accuracy and efficiency. The Accounting Manager will design, manage, track, and evaluate day to day activities of the operation team. Report directly to the executive team, with integrity and excellence. Understanding of the company mission, vision, and values and how internal financials affect or are affected by these. Provide insight and other input to or participate in various finance projects and will perform other duties as requested.
Manage day to day affairs of the group. Provide leadership, guidance, and overall group direction. Must have a firm understanding of the company’s handbook which provides detailed guidance and direction for the Manager’s working day.
Provide mentorship and training of Staff and Supervisors in various aspects of client work – from AR processing, AP processing, Bank Reconciliation, financial closing, and reporting.
Ensuring 100% accuracy of AP set up, processing and payment in accordance with the client policies, citing improvements as needed. Review and supervision.
Ensuring 100% accuracy of customer bills processed, booked and collected. Review and supervision.
Ensuring 100% accuracy via review of Bank Reconciliation performed by Staff.
High level coaching of staff; providing the pathway of opportunities for the staffs’ and supervisors’ career growth
Perform reference check, internal consistency check, grammar check, and position for the high-level quality output consistent with our firm values and standards.
Ensure overall quality (defined as timeliness and accuracy of all client deliverables, communication, and client compliance) using global best practices as a benchmark of performance.
Provide real-time feedback and advice on staff performance, become the chief inspirational officer of the group.
Responsible for handling the KPI book to be reported every 22nd of each month.
Ensure accuracy of staff inputs in their time sheets.
Ensure accuracy of metrics reported.
Responsible for drafting action points to address deviation from norms and standards.
Responsible in discussing KPI results with staff prior to discussion with the Executive team.
Document policy deviations in order to set up for continuous improvement communication.
Management of team portfolio in terms of team capacity, assignment of roles and clients, additional scope of work
Address marketing leads and spearhead onboarding of new clients
Responsible for Billing and Collection.
Responsible for communicating directly with clients, providing status updates, raising issues and concerns, addressing and closing problems as they arise, using best practice standards.
Responsible for being a technology and systems champion and ensuring internal protocols and best practices are followed and improved upon.
Responsible for raising questions with regard to our company ethics and monitoring compliance of staff.
Responsible for sharing best practice and providing executive management with insights on how to best perform key tasks, new services and improvements points for the betterment of our practice.
Provide insights and linkages with internal groups to ensure that a company centric culture (vs group centric culture) will emerge.
Participate in company activities to help enhance culture and team building.
Perform other task that may be assigned from time to time

At least 6 years or more experience in Finance or Accounting, with 1 to 2 years managerial experience.
CPA equivalent (MBA or CFA) a plus.
Must be adept in various Accounting system such as Xero, Quickbooks, Netsuite, Oracle, SAP, dynamics.
Must be articulate and communicate clearly, without losing a keen sense of fun.
Must be a self-starter and can work independently.
Must have a clear sense of materiality and a keen sense of urgency, able to juggle multiple functions at the same time and stay focused on producing high-quality client and company deliverables.
Must thrive in training, teaching, coaching and motivating staff and enjoy their company.
Must possess a strong sense of ethics, should be trustworthy to protect a confidential client and firm information.
