Accounting Manager

Job Responsibilities:
Oversee the operations of the accounting department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives
Manage all aspects of the financial accounting function including management accounts, financial planning, and analysis;
Improve accounting and finance, workflow, policies, and procedures;
Prepare cost and expense plan and supervise the company's cash flow;
Maintain a system of accounting policies and procedures
Oversee the accounting operations of the subsidiary corporations, especially their control systems, transaction-processing operations, and policies and procedures
Issue timely and complete financial statements
Recommend benchmarks against which to measure the performance of company operations
Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings

Job Requirements:
Degree holder in accounting, finance, business administration or related field
Qualified accountant with a minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in a managerial position, Preferably coming from retail or hospitably industry
Results-driven personality eager to partner with upper management to organize, plan and achieve company financial goals
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Exceptional time management and ability to problem solve under pressure
Immediately available is highly preferred
