Accounting Manager

Job SummaryThe Accounting Manager is tasked to lead the Accounting Department and responsible for the plans, programs, and coordination of activities within the department.Role and Responsibilities1. Maintain a system of policies and process flow that create control in all functions of Finance and Accounting.2. Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles3. Manages financial activities from general accounting to financial analysis and reporting4. To oversee arrangement of payments for expenditures5. Ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet on-going operational requirements6. Monitors daily cash flow and monthly financial statements7. Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements8. Coordinate and complete annual audits9. Provide recommendations10. Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions11. Meet financial accounting objectives12. Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactionsQualifications and Education1. With Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy2. Preferably a Certified Public Accountant or with master’s degree3. With at least 7 years of experience in equivalent capacity, preferably with managerial experience in accounting and finance4. Exemplary leadership and mentoring skills5. Excellent interpersonal skills6. Proficiency in using computers and softwareApplications1.
