Accounting Assistant

We are looking for an Accountant or Accounts Assistant who will work directly with our New Zealand client.
Ideally with New Zealand or Australia-based accounting experience.
This role is responsible for assisting the management team with the day-to-day functions required to run the company business in a professional and timely manner.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Payroll - assisting company Accountant as required with data entry of information into the company system, liaising with external payroll provider, accommodation - liaising with providers and ensuring correct record keeping, implementing systems, casual staff contract checking and filing
- Accounts Data Entry - assisting the Company Accountant with date entry into the company accounting system (Xero), managing staff purchase orders, checking invoice accuracy and checking against quotes, management reports, budgets and month end reporting, cashflow management and 20th payments, bank reconciliations and setting up payments
- Health and Safety - assisting HR Manager as required in our online system with ensuring plant and equipment registers and monthly check lists are completed, and any actions required are completed on time

Pay: From Php45,000.00 per month

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Accounting Assistant: 4 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (required)
