Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing multinational bank in the Philippines. Our respected client is seeking a banking professional for the job of Relationship Manager skilled in Business Development, Credit Evaluation, and Account Management. The job is based in Makati City, Metro Manila, Philippines.Key job responsibilities include:Business Development:Formulates, designs, plans and executes and manages sales and marketing strategies to promote Bank’s products and services and attain business revenue, targets and objectivesGenerates new business, scopes the market for target clients, and gauges the potential business value from the relationshipBuilds and maintains relationships with clients and its key personnel
Credit Evaluation:Evaluates creditworthiness of prospect and existing clientsVerifies information gathered from clients against data obtained from Bank’s support groups and other secondary sources, conduct credit checking from authorized third-party credit information sourcesPrepares credit evaluation reports and present to authorized credit committee for approval
Account Management:Conducts client calls on a regular basis and gathers information on business operations and performanceFormulates solutions to respond to identified client’s needs as well as well-in recommendations for extra work, and escalates concerns as raised by clientsMonitors and maintain quality portfolio thru continuous assessment and detects early warning signs of potential problems to mitigate risk and protect Bank’s credit exposureEnsures that all credit information is complete, accurate and compliant with Bank and BSP policies and requirementsEnsures the enforceability of documents pertaining to loan collateral and securities
Other Functions:Prepares reports to managements as necessaryStays abreast of banking and financial services industry practices

Key job requirements include:Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Economics, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce, Marketing or equivalent.Minimum of 5 years of experience in the commercial banking sector with exposure to corporate/investment bankingCurrently possesses a network of clientsKnowledgeable with Loan Acquisition/Operations and Branch Marketing/Operations.Preferably Assistant Manager / Managers / Senior Manager specializing in Banking/Financial Services or equivalent.Willing to work in Makati City
