Job Summary:
Our company is expanding, and we are seeking a full time Accounting AR Staff.
This accounting role will handle day-to-day billing, statements, accounts receivable transactions, and related processes, in order to help secure the company's global revenues.
This individual will also be responsible for tracking and resolving outstanding payment issues.
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide accounts receivable aging statements and reports, while maintaining detailed information on account status across each region and analysis of delinquent accounts.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with internal departments and external customers, with a professional manner.
Ensure all customers remain informed of their outstanding invoices and deadlines.
- Maintain accurate customer files and records, documenting customer correspondence, payment advices, and exporting documentation and international banking information, including letter of credits.
- Ad-hoc special projects, and other requests as needed.
**Requirements**:
- College degree with a major in Accounting or Business Administration.
- 3-4 years of experience with international corporate accounts receivable and collections.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, accounts receivable functions, and trade business terms.
- Must be highly proficient in computer software programs such as Excel, including vlookups, pivot tables, and formulas.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with corresponding departments and clients at different levels and offshore locations.
- Self-motivated with a sense of urgency.
- Highly organized and ability to manage time effectively.
- Analytical with ability to handle large sets of data with an attention to detail.
- Experience in overseas distribution and/or sales export environment is a plus.
