GENERAL LEDGER ACCOUNTANT
Responsibilities:
General Ledger Functions
Preparation and recording of Journal Entries (JE) resulting from all financial transactions affecting the countries of assignment.
Recording of intercompany accounts
Clearing of Open-Item-Managed (OIM) accounts in SAP
Recording of bank transactions
Timely recognition of revenues (commission and transfer pricing)
Posting of accruals and other recurring entries
Support month-end closing activities
Cash Flow forecasting
Reconciliation and Analysis of Accounts
Bank reconciliation
Intercompany accounts reconciliation
Analysis of other assets and liabilities accounts
Variance analysis (month-over-month/quarter-over-quarter)
Generation of reports from SAP and BPC
Statutory Reports
Support corporate income tax and other statutory filings
Preparation of audit schedules
Assist external auditor during annual audit engagement
Support outsourced accountants for reports/analysis pertaining to assigned countries.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business
2+ years’ experience in accounting, preferably in General Ledger
Financial Analysis aptitude
Familiar with bank reconciliation and monthly schedule preparation and analysis
Advanced Excel skills
Preferably with working knowledge of SAP (FICO)
Good communication skills
Proficiency in the English language

FIXED ASSETS ACCOUNTANT
Responsibilities:
Record the asset transactions in the system record (acquisitions through PR approval, transfers, and dispositions)
Administer sending of fixed asset tags and monitor tagging compliance
Participate in periodic close activities (depreciation run, journal entry preparation, account reconciliation, movement/variance analysis, close schedules)
Conduct annual physical count activities in accordance with Company Policy
Provide reports, schedules and other analysis for other groups related to fixed assets, depending on their needs and requirements
Participate in the completion of audit (internal and external) activities
Support group projects and other initiatives
Requirements:
Knowledge and/or experience in general or fixed assets accounting
Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office Applications (e.g., Excel), proficiency is a plus
Problem solving and analytical skills
Detail-oriented and organized in work
Good interpersonal skills as s/he will work with a team and various groups outside of accounting
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Can work with minimal to moderate supervision and is also comfortable working with a team
