Office Location: Eastwood, Libis Quezon City We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end AP process—from invoice processing to vendor payments—while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal policies and local tax regulations.
You will also collaborate with internal departments, external vendors, and auditors to support financial reporting and maintain strong financial controls. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of AP practices, experience with accounting software like QuickBooks, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: Process bills and invoices in compliance with financial policies and procedures
Perform daily financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data
Maintain accurate records of all payable transactions and ensure timely posting
Perform vendor account reconciliations and resolve payment discrepancies
Manage the payment cycle, including check runs, online banking, and other payment methods
Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and assist with month-end closing tasks
Support preparation of financial and management reports related to AP
Implement and uphold internal controls related to the AP process
Assist in preparing documents for audits and tax compliance
Maintain good relationships with vendors and ensure timely communication regarding payment status
Stay updated on current accounting standards and local tax regulations related to vendor payments
Perform other finance-related tasks as assigned
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
At least 2 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting
Experience with account reconciliation, billing, and financial reporting Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting systems
Familiarity with Philippine tax laws and regulations, especially those related to AP
Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal)
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently or as part of a team
