Overview:
Responsible for classifying, posting and recording of daily transactions of the company in the books of accounts either manual or electronic. Ensure the timely preparation and submission of tax returns and schedules required by the local tax agency. Keep updates on new Revenue Regulations to ensure compliance with the proper procedure in the filing and submission of returns.
Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and document business transactions.
Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness.
Prepares company tax computations and ensures timely submission of tax returns and reports to BIR, SEC and other government agency.
Preparation and payment of Value Added Tax (2550M & 2550Q) reports and returns for EFPS
Submission of Summary List of Sales and Purchases - RELIEF for VAT
Establishes & implements controls to ensure integrity of payments and ensure all the schedules are done in an accurate and timely manner.
Resolve accounting discrepancies.
Prepare statements and monthly closing accounting reports.
Other Accounting duties as assigned.

Job Specifications/Skills:
Bachelor’s/College Degree, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
Knowledgeable in preparation of Financial Statement and government reportorial.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
Basic knowledge in Accounting software, i.e. JDE or other ERP software
Minimum Educational Requirements:
Graduate of Bachelor of Science Major in Accounting
