If you're looking for a tech scale-up in Amsterdam there are a few to choose from, but none quite with our story. We are looking for anAccount Manager,who is responsible for all countries outside of our current regions of USA, France, DACH and UK, to join us on this mission. You can work remotely in your home country or relocate to our HQ in Amsterdam.

You'll use your existing customer network, complemented with Hubs' key accounts, to scale your sales from day 1, and hit the ground running. It's no easy ride. This can be considered a high-stakes role, with steep targets and equally steep compensation when successful. We're moving fast and sometimes you might not always be able to close the deal but you're going to be surrounding yourself with some of the biggest innovators in the world and having a lot of fun whilst you do it.

What you'll do:

Managing roughly 100-200 accounts from SMBs who need quick and reliable sourcing to Fortune 500s who want to de-risk and optimize their supply chains across the Manufacturing, Aerospace, Robotics, Automotive, Medical, and Energy industries
"Land and expand" with sales-qualified customers of Hubs. You will handle incoming deals from existing clients, build relationships with current contacts, prospect for new contacts within your assigned accounts, and grow revenue quarter over quarter
Strategize and formulate plans with your manager and team for how to continue growing revenue, margin, customer satisfaction, and recurring business within your accounts.
Help customers get to market faster and more efficiently by using Hubs' platform for quoting and network for production.
Supporting manufacturing projects from the prototyping phase to production for CNC machining, injection molding, Sheet metal, and 3D printing.
Helping engineering teams use the Hubs platform effectively to reduce lead times and manufacturing costs
As part of your role, you will be expected to be on the phone as a regular part of your day, and on the road visiting your clients on-site about 15-25% of the time (once we're allowed to again, of course)
About you:

You probably studied Mechanical Engineering of some sort of past life within the engineering, automotive, aerospace Industries
Commercially driven, but never at the expense of customer success.
An experienced sales professional (5y+) with a proven track record in (custom) part manufacturing, and series production
An active Rolodex of accounts in one or manufacturing relevant industries
Fluent with online software tools, such as Google suite, online CRM, etc
Fluent in English and ideally in Spanish, Italian or French
Bonus: engineering education
Bonus: track record with one of our competitors
Bonus: specialized in a specific industry, such as Aerospace.

The recruitment process:

Our recruiter will have a quick chat to make sure the role is what you think it is, learn more about you and your career ambitions and cover our interview process and next step
Shortly before meeting with one of our Sales Managers we'll send you the cognitive and behavioural assessment online (takes 12 minutes total)
After that, we'll have an assignment to cover your sales skills. The assessment involves a take-home assignment where later we ask you to present
Finally, you'll meet some more team members and have a fun and casual short chat with one of our cultural ambassadors
