Responsibilities Design sales consultants make the sale by demonstrating product features, designs, and benefits to corporate purchasing agents, contractors, and designers. Our consultants work with our marketing team to find leads, define their needs, contact them, and present our products to the potential customer. Once the presentation has been made, it is the design consultant’s job to provide the customer with clear reasons to purchase the product, work with them until the sale is closed, and make sure that their order is fulfilled in a timely manner. Here are the key Sales Design Consultant responsibilities:


Drive sales to meet quarterly targets Effectively generate sales by utilizing marketing materials, local resources, and relationships Serves as trusted advisor/primary point of contact for the buyer from initial meeting through home closing Generates excitement by effectively identifying needs of potential buyers and matching related solutions Builds confidence with potential home buyer by selling features/benefits of Outboxed products Comparatively shops products of competitors and visits those operating in same geographical areas Prospect and visit potential customers Maintains buyer interest by effectively using listening and negotiating skills when confronted with objections and counters with specific alternatives Meets with installers, fabricators and contractors regarding issues/status of projects, and ensures fair and consistent treatment of customers by effectively solving problems when they occur, to the extent that you are empowered to do so Compensation and Benefits Outboxed offers all full-time personnel a comprehensive benefits package, including medical insurance, generous commissions, and a profit-sharing plan. We provide all our salespeople communication (mobile phone) and travel allowances within justifiable parameters. All justifiable expenses incurred in the course of getting the job done are also reimbursed.
Minimum Qualifications:
We are looking for self-motivated individuals who are persuasive and enthusiastic. Decisiveness and good judgment are crucial since our sales consultants are expected to act with authority in an environment where they are largely free of direction. Here are some specific qualifications:


Candidates who possess sales/service experience are preferred Having a design-focused education in fields such as interior design, architecture, and industrial design is a plus Ability to demonstrate hands-on learning through experience is crucial Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including retail hours and occasional evening hours for events Highly personable, skilled at interacting with clients and prospects at a variety of knowledge and comfort levels Ability to handle a fast-paced and changing environment Ability to use MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word efficiently is necessary Ability to effectively communicate in English is key
