To contribute to the business growth by providing assistance to Associate Director, Divisional Managers, Executive General Manager, Managing Director and Management as required.
Develop new business and retain existing business within client portfolio
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Business Servicing and Quality
Respond to enquiries and requests for action from Associate Director, Executive General Manager, Divisional Managers, Senior Account Executives and Managing Director.
Prepare submissions, undertake analysis of client requirements and undertake the processing of new business, renewals and policy maintenance to ensure provision of excellent service to clients and the highest quality input to insurers.
This includes:
Analysis of client requirements and preparation of quotations for clients’ insurance packages in line with their needs.
Prepare submissions for broking clients, follow-up on quotations and attend to processing new business as required
Processing of endorsements/amendments
Quoting and processing of renewals documentation in a timely manner
Preparing correspondence between the team, clients and underwriters in conjunction with the Divisional Manager
Maintain an understanding of all insurance products which are part of client portfolio
Manage debtor control for portfolio
Work with the Claims Team to ensure prompt and efficient claims settlement. Assist with
Work with the Client Services Team on Debtor collection and management
Compliance
Maintain current knowledge of company policies and principles and ensure consistency with company compliance disclosure obligations on all policies.
Ensure all activities are carried out in compliance with relevant statutory, industry requirements and codes as well as company policies and procedures.
Compile at least 24 CPD points per year

Undertake Professional Development activities as outlined in training plan

Managing Director, Divisional Managers, Senior Account Executives, Claims Manager, Staff, Insurers, Corporate clients, Regulatory Authorities and External providers

Qualifications/ Experience
Tier 1 Qualification (RG146) –
Enrolment in Diploma of Financial Services (Insurance Broking)
2 years experience working within the Financial Services Industry

Experience:
Financial Services: 2 years (Preferred)
